Although the Staffing Plan contains information about who will take what action to close each gap in what timeframe,
the related go/no-go decisions and the escalation path and the Staffing Strategy gives insight in the way we will try
to close each gap and the preferred options and the related priorities, the gap we find in practice might need multiple
different, in some cases even unconventional, measures.
The impact of the corrective measures on the costs of the transition and/or the costs of the Service Run might need a
decision at much higher level of delivery management than represented in the transition engagement steering committee.
Examples are a decision to temporarily hire resources from other companies for the service teams or to use a service
supplier as a subcontractor party with an underpinning contract. Although the actual contracting will take place in the
work stream Finance And Contracts, the need for an (additional) contract comes up in the Service Engagement Staff work
stream.
